Brunei Darussalam Central Bank, BDCB, has commissioned the Centre for Strategic and Policy Studies, CSPS, to conduct the 4th National Financial Literacy Survey 2025, until the 12th of February 2026.

The resulting evidence will be internationally comparable and will serve as a critical input for the design of targeted financial education programs, regulatory initiatives, and policy interventions in support of Wawasan Brunei 2035. Fieldwork will be conducted through a nationwide face-to-face household survey, drawing on a statistically representative random sample of 1,800 households across all four districts and targeting adults aged between 18 to 79 years. Households selected for participation are encouraged to verify their identities against the official list published on the CSPS website prior to the start of the survey.

All information collected will be treated with the strictest confidentiality and used exclusively for statistical and research purposes.
